K-Link Foundation's History
The Origin of K-Link Foundation lies in collaboration andassociation of UNDP, GSDMA
and KNNA that were built after post-earthquake of Gujarat in2001 with an objective
to mainstream ICT into Developmentsector. Since Aug’2001, K-Link is cultivated and
nurtured as a technological arm of Kutch NavNirmanAbhiyan Network.
The innovative and viable technical solution of K-link enables not only the member
organizations of KNNA but also benefited other civil societies and govt. agencies
for more than a decade to integrate ICT efficiently and empower community. Technical
initiatives of K-Link have not only enabled community to demand for their rights
and entitlements by highest level of diffusion.
K-Link Foundation is registered under section 25C – Not for Profit, on 20th June’2012,
encouraged and promotedby Kutch NavNirmanAbhiyan, a network of 38 grass root levelNGO.
